perfect view plentiful breakfast cute host
the room included a balcony facing the eiger mountain overlooking a garden (it was perfect). the breakfast was plentiful and helped start the day well. christoph, the host, was cute and helpful if i needed anything.
the stairs to the room were steep, made carrying suitcases a bit difficult.

balcony view friendly exchanges steep stairs missing cups
The location allows very easy access to the First station. The views from the balcony included mountains and provided a lovely scene. Breakfast included a good assortment of breads, jams, and hard-boiled eggs. The breakfast room fostered friendly exchanges among guests.
The stairs to the room were steep. This made carrying suitcases difficult. There were no cups provided in the room despite the presence of a kettle.

kind director useful information eiger view aged hotel small room size small bathroom
The director was very kind to give me a glass of orange juice. This happened when I came in at night. He noticed I looked tired. He and his colleague also gave me very useful information! I had a great view of the Eiger from my balcony.
The hotel is quite aged. The furniture feels old. The room size was very small. We struggled to open our suitcases. The bathroom felt small too.

great stay with amazing views
train station proximity friendly staff packed breakfast
the location was fantastic, very close to the train station! the staff was helpful and friendly. i appreciated the packed breakfast they prepared for my early departure, a nice touch!!!
